Experience with the book

The book is very strange and it honestly frightens me. The explicit detail that Huxley has, his imagination is so vidid and yet makes you think and really try to understand our society in modern times. Some aspects in the book seem simpler than what we have now and others seem outrageous and cruel. The bottom line is that Huxley critically looked at our society and I think he tried to create a new world that made what we think good bad and what we think bad good. This is the essence of what a Brave New World is; its a world opposite and different from ours and yet the same because it is still run on fear and basic human interaction. Huxley's writing style is simple and straight forward but so complex and detailed that one sentence has 10 literary techniques and one paragraph is more involved than my whole life. He does a good job of describing scenes and making readers feel uncomfortable but so intrigued to read on.
